Wash in cold water (30°C or below) to prevent shrinking and protect the fabric and printing from heat damage.

Turn shirts inside out before washing to protect the numbers, names, and club badges from direct agitation and fading.

Use a gentle cycle with mild detergent - avoid harsh chemicals or bleach which can break down the polyester fibers and fade colors.

Wash with similar colors to prevent color bleeding, especially for new shirts during their first few washes.

Air dry whenever possible by hanging or laying flat - high heat from tumble dryers can cause shrinkage and damage the fabric's moisture-wicking properties.

If using a dryer, use low heat setting and remove while slightly damp to prevent over-drying and static buildup.

Iron on low heat setting if needed, and always place a cloth between the iron and any printed areas to avoid melting or damaging graphics.

Avoid fabric softeners as they can coat the polyester fibers and reduce the shirt's ability to wick moisture away from the body.

Treat stains immediately with cold water and gentle stain remover - grass stains respond well to pre-treatment before washing.

Store properly by hanging or folding neatly to prevent permanent creasing and maintain the shirt's shape over time.
